About the Business
Currently the company runs a small fleet of Transit Jumbo vans but has the capability, and plans, to expand to the 7.5T and eventually HGV sector in the future. In the near future we aim to increase our current and loyal customer base whilst increasing our knowledge and presence in specialist areas. Planned acquisitions will enable us to offer our customers logistical as well as transport and courier solutions.
Darnells Express was formed initially as a same day courier service by Alan Crossley in May 2004. Alan purchased one new Transit Jumbo van and provided a collection service within the Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool areas then delivered the consignments throughout the UK.
Within months Alan built a reputation that assisted him in acquiring his first major contract. Darnells Express success grew steadily and was registered as a limited company in July 2006.
