About the Business
Normally, when we collect a consignment for delivery, that consignment will stay with the same driver, in the same vehicle and be transported direct to its destination. We do not tranship items from vehicle to depot to vehicle, thereby eliminating the possibility of anything getting lost although we do have the facility to securely store small items overnight if that is required. All our deliveries are documented on a 3-part delivery note, which is signed, dated and timed by the recipient. The client then receives a copy of this document as proof of delivery, with the invoice. We also telephone the client to confirm that the delivery has been made.
